SSCF is a humanitarian effort channeled towards saving lives of people living with Sickle Cell Anemia and helping in the education of the society to prevent its occurrence.

Our Mission:

To create awareness about sickle cell disorder through various campaigns and bring succor to sickle cell warriors and their care givers. To provide state-of-the-art health care facilities for sickle cell warriors.

Our vision

To have a sickle cell free nation and establish state of the art medical facilities and research centers that would ease the pain of those living with the sickle cell disorder. To ensure people born with sickle cell disease (sickle cell warriors) live a pain free life in Nigeria and beyond. Our ultimate aim remains Sickle Cell control and eradication.

Our values: Action plan

To engage communities and the populace on the need for a collective effort on the fight against sickle cell disorder. Sickle cell disorder has become pandemic with an ever increasing birth statistics in Nigeria and to get support for people living with Sickle Cell Disease (SCD) that is currently unsatisfactory.

Our ultimate aim remains Sickle Cell control and eradication by;

SCD(Sickle Cell Disease) awareness and genetic counseling, provision of better health care quality accessibility. Eradication/prevention of this disease remains 'Genetic Counseling' - discouraging genotype carriers of the S gene marrying which may later result in SS gene carrying children, otherwise known as having Sickle Cell Disease.
