Through our assistance programs carried out by our mission directory, Smile Sickle cell foundation has played a critical role in the sensitization and promotion of awareness of sickle cell disease in both the rural and urban environment of Nigeria. These investments we make in the communities we visit, creates a long term benefit for Nigerians and indeed the world at large.

KARU VILLAGE MISSION

Karu village a suburb in the federal capital territory city of Nigeria have faced substantial Sickle cell disease health challenges over the past decade. With our awareness program and a health care clinic under construction in the village, progress has been recorded in the area.

KARISHI VILLAGE MISSION

Karish a town in Nasarawa state in North central Nigeria has also witness programs aimed at bringing drugs and mosquito prevention material to help promote the standard of life of sickle cell disease patients in the region.

SCHOOLS

SMILE SICKLE CELL FOUNDATION plays a key role in partnering with schools and colleges to ensure that sickle cell awareness is taught to the young ones.
